IC Information:
Name: Tate Langdon
Fandom: American Horror Story
Timeline: At the end of the series.
Age:  Physically: 17 | Actually: 34

Appearance:
Tate has a pale complexion with blonde locks that compliment him very nicely. These locks are mixed with a darker yellow that illuminate in the sun as light yellow, but since we only ever really see him in the dark, it is easy to see the mix. His eyes are dark brown, and usually have a tiredness around them, or a redness to them.

He has a runners body because he was in track when he was alive. Even as a ghost, he still maintains a strong physique that is not easily view-able because of his baggy clothing.  Speaking of clothing, his appearance appears rather grunge-like and often sports sweaters, cardigans, and faded jeans. To top it off, he normally wears converses, or the like.

Tate has expressed knowledge of how to use guns.

Tate is a young man over-come by his methodical mind and

explosive emotions.

A lot of people describe Tate as having Antisocial 4:34 PM

10/14/2012Personality Disorder in which a person does

things for their own gain or feelings without feeling remorse

for what they've done. People inflicted with this disorder

often appear charming, and incredibly throughoug of ways

to get underneath peoples' skin. Tate falls under all these

traits quite nicely, but his deep expression of emotions and

inability to control them makes him appear more human.

Tate's father left the family when he was a little boy. This

was around the time his mother, brother, sister, and him

decided to move into the 'Murder House'. Constance, his

mother, seemed to be in a solemn depression and left Tate

alone for a lot of the time. Due to this, it could be possible

that Tate's lack of trust, fear of rejection, and disgusted view

of the world starts from there.

There are multiple scenes that can support all three of

those points above. When Tate firsts appears in the show,

he is in a session with Ben. Ben asks him what he thinks

of, and Tate starts to talk about things that strangely

reminsnce the shooting that he committed. As the talk goes

on, he begins to say the world is filthy and that he wants to

make a place that will be good, and clean and happy. But

that the world right now is horrible, needs to be cleansed,

and that he'd be doing a favor to the world by getting rid of

all the 'trash'.

Tate strongly dislikes rejection. When Ben, the father of

Violet, catches him talking to her in her room, he tells Tate

that he must leave and that he wasn't supposed to be there.

Tate comments on how Ben said he was afraid of rejection,

then has an emotional outburst, hitting the stairs as he

runs down them. There are many other instances of him

negatively reacting when faced with rejection.

Tate seems to always express disdain and anger towards

his mother and often can see through her and her actions

as Tate is a very smart boy. He knows the inner workings of

what his mother has done, and even calls her out on killing

his brother as much as she protests the fact. During a

therapy session, he even goes as far to call his mother a

'cocksucker' but plays it off by it being the literal truth.

Like stated before, Tate appears to feel deeply and react

accordingly. When he is angry, he shouts and it very volatile.

When he is in love with Violet, he expressed concern and

says incredibly sweet things, willing to protect her from

anything.

The reasons behind what he does aren't always good, but

he believes them to be right. A good example of this would

be him almost killing the new boy that moved in so Violet

wouldn't be lonely. He wanted Violet to be happy and to

have a companion and would kill for her. Many other times,

he suggested suicide for her and in a way, that is how is

expresses how deeply his love and devotion go.
